Good day everyone. First things first a great big thank you to everyone who's read my stories over the past couple years my output has always been rather slow and made ever slower recently by my rl career ramping up. No i am not on hiatus nor have I dissapeared. In fact, I encourage you all to message me whenever you like to chat about whatever you want. My dms are always open and if you'd like to chat, rp or play games with other similar minded folk then please check out my discord ( https://discord.gg/mNJuTy3v8D ). On to the subject of today's post: DiD or GiD. It has both occurred and been said to me in the past that, unlike many writers who stick to a gender for the damsel, I chop and change all over the place. When I started writing I was purely GiD focused and was certain things would remain that way. However the ebb and flow of fancy changed for me and I moved more toward DiD and then back again to GiD and now once again DiD. I admit I felt rather distraught that I was betraying my core audience who had watched me for GiD stuff but seeing as those people haven't unwatched I can only assume they don't mind the betrayal. From my own point of view the gender of the subject does not matter so much as the experience being described. The thing that draws me to write these stories is the process of Setup, Altercation, Capture and Control. Different themes and settings will ask for specific subjects (e.g: I like to play into well established stereotypes: Overconfident Businessperson, Airheaded Babysitter, Nosey Reporter. In our minds' eyes we can already see what these characters are supposed to look like). I recently received a message from a fan I won't name who told me they were very disappointed I haven't uploaded any GiD for a while. They said there was little enough GiD as it was and asked me to please make more (some great GiD writers include GameGeek95, Boredarse and Gagfan. Please visit them). This was at the same time gratifying and confronting to receive. While its nice to know my work is enjoyed and anticipated I hadn't before realised people were waiting on me for anything. So in response to him and to all of you silenting thinking the same thing I'd like to give you a clue in on what I'm working on and the DiD GiD sitch. I am very very fast at writing and very very slow at inspiration. For instance, of all the stories on my page, none have taken longer than 6 hours to write. However, every story has taken from a fortnight to a few months to get a good idea going and find the time to write it to completion. I write stories in a stream of consciousness; I will have an idea such as a type of bondage, an interesting character or a cool scenario and focus the story around that concept. It's why I do better with one shots rather than multipart stories. I work on many stories at once. At this exact moment in time I have 18 stories in progress and 20 story concepts in notes yet to be started as well as 3 commission stories to complete. Of course commissions take priority but that isn't to say i'm holding back work. I prefer work I've been paid for. Instead it's the case that I only take commissions that I actually want to write and I've always reserved the right to drop a story for any reason. The only exception I've made to this was a private commission I did where the commission was very particular about chopping and changing huge portions of the story AFTER it had been written. That was one of my first commissions and in hindsight I should have dropped it as the story didn't represent my writing style, quality or feel and I learnt to be more discerning going forward. DiD or GiD? The answer which was staring me right in the face is, of course, both! I love writing these stories and I get inspired by everything and everyone around me constantly. To artificially constrain myself is to make my hobby into a chore and that is something I will never ever do. So what's next? Well I wish I could say. The Home Invasion series is going well and we're over half way now. I always have 2 big multistory concepts I'm working on. There's also another Hex'd story and another Team Rocket Revolution story that I'm working on. They are both about halfway done. Things will be done when they are done in 'Emmy-time'.  So an end to this incoherent ramble and a final paragraph just to say, again, thank you ever so much for reading my stories and to all the friends I've made. Thank you sincerely for 1000 watchers. Have a lovely day -Emmy x x x P.S. latex or canvas straitjackets? I cant make up my mind.
